We are seeking a Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide direct services in math and reading for a caseload of 10-15 upper elementary students (grades 3-5).
This is a remote, full-time position starting on December 11, 2023, and concluding on June 14, 2024.
Responsibilities :
- Individualized Instruction : Provide virtual instruction tailored to the individual needs of each student in math and reading.
- Assessment : Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Virtual Classroom Management : Create and maintain a positive and inclusive virtual learning environment.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to ensure the success of each student.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and communication.
Qualifications :
- Active New Hampshire Special Education Certification.
- Experience working with upper elementary students.
- Strong virtual teaching and technology skills.
- Must be able to provide Liability Insurance
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students in a virtual learning environment.
