KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Data Privacy Governance to join our Enterprise Data Services organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct privacy risk reviews for applications / initiatives undergoing risk review processes, focusing on relevant privacy regulations such as CCPA and other US States, Data Privacy Framework, HIPAA / HITECH, GDPR and other Non-US Privacy legislation
  • Provide ad-hoc support on privacy requirements for engagements
  • Manage the tracking of privacy reviews and responses to multi-faceted privacy inquiries
  • Monitor the US Privacy mailbox and ServiceNow requests for inquiries / requests for internal privacy support as well as external data subjects requests regarding KPMG's processing of personal information
  • Contribute to activities related to regulatory requirements, such as the Individual Rights Requests process, Data Mapping, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Processing Records;

provide supporting information for metrics / KPIs

Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements within existing and non-existing programs

Qualifications :

  • Minimum three years of recent experience within data privacy program operations
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; CIPP-US and / or CPIM Certification are preferred
  • Working knowledge of US and International Privacy Regulations such as CCPA and other US States, HIPAA / HITECH, Data Privacy Framework, GLBA, and GDPR and other Non-US Privacy legislation
  • Strong project management skills and experience working across multi department organizations; must be able to comfortably communicate with executives, peers, vendors, and clients on Privacy matters
  • Ability to follow documented processes and work with minimal supervision; demonstrates initiative, self-discipline, and a high degree of integrity
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
