Job Title : Temporary Legal Secretary
Location : Seattle, WA
Pay Rate : $33 - $38 per hour
LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Legal Secretary to join our client's team in Seattle, WA.
The successful candidate will support our legal team by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
- Manage and organize case files and legal documents.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court appearances.
- Maintain attorney calendars and monitor deadlines.
- Conduct basic legal research and gather pertinent information.
- Assist with billing and time entry.
- Handle client inquiries and communications with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal setting.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
