AWS Data Engineer

A leading IT Consultancy are looking to strengthen their Data Engineering team, the successful candidate will have hands-on design and engineering background in AWS, across a wide range of AWS services with the ability to demonstrate working on large engagements.
This role requires candidates to go through DV Clearance (BRITISH NATIONAL)
- Experience of AWS tools (e.g Athena, Redshift, Glue, EMR)
- Java, Scala, Python, Spark, SQL
- Experience of developing enterprise grade ETL / ELT data pipelines.
- NoSQL Databases. Dynamo DB / Neo4j / Elastic, Google Cloud Datastore.
- Snowflake Data Warehouse / Platform
- Experience of working with CI / CD technologies, Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker, GCP Cloud Build,
- Ansible etc
- Experience building and deploying solutions to Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud) including Cloud provisioning tools (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or Cloud Deployment Manager)
- Have a broad understanding of AWS services including but not limited to, EC2, Storage, AWS Security, Container technologies, IAM, Cloud Networking, data processing and machine learning.
