Job Description
The College of Southern Idaho Maintenance Department invites applications for seasonal non-exempt full-time (or part-time if work-study) forty-hour per week position.
Benefits are not included. Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 7 : 30am to 4pm, except holidays.
Work-study students will be given first priority in hiring upon completion of application and interview through the Financial Aid Department.
Regular CSI students currently enrolled (especially those with past grounds experience); will be given first consideration.
Positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis based on qualifications and job references.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Working under the direction of a foreman or supervisor.
- Perform Mowing, watering, fertilizing, installing or removing landscape materials, operate weed eaters, edging, clean up, trash patrol, and other related duties.
Previous grounds keeping experience a plus.
Required Skills :
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle with a standard transmission.
- Possess a current driver’s license.
- Possess the physical ability to perform all the essential duties of the position.
- Be able and willing to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Able to carry out the directions of the foreman or supervisor.
