We have an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator located at our Salt Lake facility in Division 8 Glass and Glazing .
Responsibilities
- Review the plans, specifications and addenda to determine the project scope and requirements.
- Perform jobsite inspections of existing conditions, As-Built conditions, etc. Check the specified systems against engineering data for compliance with wind loads and dead load maximums.
- Produce shop drawings and detail drawings using AutoCAD. Assemble hardware, door, framing and glass schedules.
- Submit orders to vendors once approved submittals are received. Align ship dates with construction schedule
- Discuss project execution parameters such as project flags, the schedule and installation with the project manager and field supervisor, to determine and fine tune product selection, specs and detailing.
- Provide updates and support to project managers as needed
Qualifications
Requirements :
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience within the construction, architecture or related industry. Past experience with AutoCAD is required.
An ability to read and understand construction specifications and plans is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly desirable.
