We are seeking a hands-on and self-driven Social Media Video Producer to join our team and assist in creating compelling and visually stunning static and video content optimized for social distribution.
The video producer will play a crucial role in capturing the essence of our brand and our projects, and will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process of photo and video shoots.
This role is a dynamic opportunity for someone with a passion for content production, video editing, and social media management.
The ideal candidate will have a keen creative eye, artistic vision, and the ability to think strategically about complex social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end video production process for short-form content, and assist with filming and production for long-form content as needed.
- Capture photos for social media content, marketing collateral, and project documentation.
- Develop and execute short-form video content strategies & run outreach programs that align with our brand’s goals and vision.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to plan, storyboard, and produce engaging social media videos, from conceptualization through post-production.
- Operate and help manage studio and field equipment (cameras, lighting, audio gear) to capture high-quality footage.
- Edit raw footage into polished, brand-aligned content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, with skills in color grading, sound mixing, and visual effects.
- Proactively identify opportunities for new video formats, trends, and creative strategies to keep content fresh and impactful.
- Manage video assets and organize content efficiently for quick access and deployment across platforms.
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit video content for social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, utilizing in-app tools to integrate native features, and ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visual branding.
- Manage day-to-day social media operations across platforms, including copywriting, obtaining content approvals, and scheduling posts for timely publishing.
- Engage with and manage our online community by actively responding to comments and messages across social media platforms.
- Analyze performance metrics of social media content and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Qualifications
- Videography, photography, and editing experience.
- Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.
- Strong knowledge of video editing (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro) and photo editing (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) software, and other post-production techniques.
- Strong background in cinematography principles, with a keen understanding of composition, framing, color theory, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Extremely knowledgeable about current trends and social platforms TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Extremely organized and able to multitask.
- Expert at freelance time management, working independently, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Ambition and ability to drive projects forward without the need for micromanagement.
- A creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing videos.
- Ability to manage multiple projects throughout all stages of production.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with the creative team.
- Willingness to travel to shooting locations.
- Experience with social media content creation and / or management is a plus.
- Experience being in front of a camera is a plus.
- Copywriting skills / experience are a plus.
- Director of photography or cinematography experience is highly desirable.
