Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florid Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Family Medicine - OB / GYN Physician to join our team at Lowell Correctional Institution located in Ocala, Florida.
The OB / GYN provides obstetrics and gynecological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for incarcerated female patients and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing services to patients in a correctional setting.
OB / GYN services include routine gynecological and obstetrics care, prenatal care, specialized obstetrical services, postpartum care, and women’s health education.

Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- Active, unrestricted MD / DO license or ability to obtain one required
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, or General Medicine Women's Health
- Must show / be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check
