Responsibilities
- Oversees daily operations
- Trains, supervises and recruits the staff within the department
- Implements and maintains quality control and assurance programs
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Contributes to the strategic planning and development
- Oversees the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Engage in research and collaborate with other departments and institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in MT, CLS, or related field
- Master's, preferred
- ASCP
- CLS or MT
- Clinical laboratory setting experience
- Previous supervisory experience or managerial role in clinical setting
