Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Registered Dietitian (Hybrid) for Oneida Health located in Oneida, New York. Oneida Health is a premier integrated health network offering Primary and Specialty Care to the Utica, Rome, Oneida patients.

This position will cover acute care and the cancer center, joining a team that includes a fulltime dietitian and 2 fulltime diet technicians.

This is a Monday-Friday position with the ability to work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The successful candidate will :

• oversee the clinical team in providing nutritional care to the acute care patients;
• meet DOH / state / federal and company standards;
• be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;

represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and / or

support the food service operation as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Basic Education Requirement :

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1 / 1 / 24 :

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement :

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD / RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.

In some states and / or facilities the RD / RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification / licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and / or facilities state certification / licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
