The award-winning in-house agency team for PepsiCo Foods, affectionately called D3, is hiring again! We are growing rapidly with a dynamic team that includes Creative, Account Service, Strategy, Ops, Production, Social, Digital, Cause, and Partnership experts providing full-service creative agency work for the PepsiCo Foods North American portfolio.
The D3 team is a full-service creative agency that supports the PepsiCo Foods North America business, working on iconic brands like Lay’s, Doritos, Tostitos, Smartfood, Cap’n Crunch and Quaker (to name just a few!).
We are seeking a creative and experienced production Art Director to join D3’s Studio Team. As an integral part of the production crew, you will be responsible for assisting our senior art director in overseeing the visual aspects of photo and video projects, helping to bring our teams vision to life through compelling and visually stunning sets, props, and wardrobe.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a talent for adding their own flavor to every shoot.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design collaboratively with directors, photographers, the D3 creative team, and other key stakeholders to develop the visual concept of projects, and translate that vision into tangible sets, props and wardrobe that reflect the mood, tone and theme of the project
- Develop and design director treatments and presentation decks that provide mood boards, color palettes, prop direct, wardrobe inspiration, hair and make-up looks, etc.
- Work within budget to source props and shop for wardrobe
- Build and paint props and set pieces
- Assist the Sr. Studio Art Director on any and all projects, as well as help manage our library of props, hero packaging, and set elements
- Support the production and post production teams in the look and feel of projects, visual effects, color grading, and other processes that impact the overall look and feel of a project
Compensation and Benefit Details :
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $125,900 based on a full-time schedule.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Degree in Art, Design, Film Production, or related field
- Proven experience as an art director in a similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative vision, design skills, and attention to detail
- Experience in set construction and prop making
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive a creative and collaborative environment
- Creative problem solver with a flexible and positive attitude to adapt to changing production requirements and schedules
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to bring a production to life
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar tools is a plus
- Ability to storyboard is a plus
