This position is responsible for designing and creating digital marketing content. The Marketing Coordinator will administer social media marketing efforts, email creation and automation strategy, as well as a variety of other tasks to support company growth goals.
Must be able to work independently to complete tasks and projects that directly impact the goals of the team and the company.
This creative-oriented role will have an opportunity to test creative marketing concepts and their impact on the overall marketing strategy and sales team effectiveness.
Must have experience with writing to different audiences and telling a story of how a product or aspect of a service solves a problem or presents a new opportunity.
Additionally, this position is responsible for analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies and ensure continuous marketplace engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
50% Email, Blogging, and Content Strategy :
- Responsible for assisting in managing BEI’s online marketing platform (HubSpot).
- Creation of Calls-to-Action, Newsletters, Email Blasts, Landing Pages, and Content Offers.
- Creating blog article concepts and then writing copy to bring the blog article to life.
- Strategize how to use content with buyer persona and buying stage in mind.
- Provide feedback on which topics are getting the most traffic and conversions.
- Schedule emails to be sent and build automated email programs.
- Segmentation of lists based on activity, persona, and buyer journey stage.
- Dynamic content and testing strategy and implementation.
- Reporting on campaign results, and customer path through journeys.
20% Social Media :
- Manage social media marketing initiatives - updating social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) with new content and daily posts, developing and implementing content strategies, and analysis of efforts.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels.
10% PPC / SEM and SEO :
- PPC : Keyword research, ad copy creation, conversion rate optimization and the review and analysis of performance metrics using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
- SEO : Content editing and approval, inbound linking, technical SEO, local optimization, social media, and analysis of website performance.
20% Other :
- Evaluate advertising opportunities in print and digital media.
- Responsible for reporting and analytics, including data analysis, updating dashboards and creating monthly performance reports.
- Develop, update, and manage marketing materials such as company info sheets.
- Prepare and create materials for conferences and events.
- Assist sales team with drafting sales related content.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Administrative Experience :
- 5+ years proven digital marketing experience.
- 1 2 years’ experience with project and task management.
- 1 2 years’ experience creating digital marketing content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- College Degree (BA or BS preferred).
- Proven copywriting, blogging and editing experience.
Technical Experience :
- Experience with Hubspot required, Close / MailGun a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with high efficiency and accuracy of typing of word processing.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro).
- Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and understanding key metrics driving performance.
