Responsibilities Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.+ Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing.

Interview patient to determine sleep disorderissues and to explain testing procedures.+ Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary toresolve patient needs or equipment issues.

• Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score,interpret and report result of sleep studies.
• Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and reportneeded repairs / replacements.

Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration : + BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date orjob transfer date required.

American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.

• One or more of the following required : + Cert Polysomnographic Tech credentialed from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic Technologists(BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst credentialed from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic Technologists (BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education : + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree / Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
