Position Summary
The Community Center Analyst will report to the Associate Vice President for Campus and Community Affairs (AVP Equity and Inclusion).
This role is essential in providing administrative support, overseeing budget and human resources, and ensuring fiscal compliance for the community centers within the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the administrative, analytical, and operational functions of the Division.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing conditions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information handled on behalf of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity.

Position Information
- Full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, temporary position anticipated to end on June 30, 2025 with the possibility of reappointment.
- Position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation.
- Standard SDSU work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs.
Education and Experience
Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and / or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods.
This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and / or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and / or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
Key Qualifications
- Experience with Accounting software, such as Oracle, Banner (MyRF), PeopleSoft, Adaptive, etc.
- One year experience with contracts, procurement and payables functions.
- One Year Project Management or other related analysis / operations experience is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary upon appointment is not expected to exceed $4,170 per month.
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
