Material Handler
New Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Skilled at operating lift truck. Possess a valid lift truck-operating license.
2. Must be able to utilize and comprehend all functions of the ORACLE Warehouse Management System.
3. Operate packaging and production equipment as required.
4. Perform physical inventory counts and maintain perpetual inventory counts as needed.
5. Prepare and load product to customer requirements to insure safe delivery and customer satisfaction.
6. Maintain safe and orderly work areas.
7. Work overtime as required and scheduled to meet customer demand.
8. Able to perform basic arithmetic, reading and writing tasks.
9. The job described reflects the general skills considered necessary to perform the principal functions of the position and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job.
Standards for the Distribution Center
Must Work Inventory
No yearly shutdown
Overtime may be required without notice even for Holidays
Vacation is not subject to plant wide criteria
Skills / Experience Requirements
Must be able to drive a tow motor
Must be able to read and write
Education Requirements
High school education or equivalent education a plus
Physical / Work Environment Requirements
Able to lift and maneuver 50 pound cartons in a variety of settings and positions. Able to bend, stoop, climb and perform repetitive lifting and loading while in a trailer or while building or assembling orders.
