Overview of the Accountant position :
- Prepare and report corporate and individual tax returns
- Identify business opportunities for clients and offer additional business recommendations upon request
- Provide support for bookkeeping, payroll, and tax planning activities as needed
- Handle the preparation of trust tax returns
Preferred Qualifications for the Tax Accountant professional :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- At least one year of tax experience is required
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, initiative and team player mentality
- Written communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups
