Overview of the Tax Accountant role :
- Corporate and individual tax returns and reporting
- Identify business opportunities for clients and provide additional business recommendations as requested
- Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, and tax planning activities as necessary
- Prepare trust tax returns
Preferred Qualifications for the Tax Accountant :
- Bachelor degree in accounting / finance
- Minimum one year of tax experience is a must
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a changing environment
- Creative problem-solving, shows initiative and acts proactively
- Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills
