Position Summary
Analyzes data to provide historical trends to ensure orders are placed timely and evaluates inventory levels to determine proper reorder points.
Meets with customers to understand upcoming material demand. Work closely with vendors to resolve late deliveries and locate alternate materials.
Creates various reports to be used throughout the organization. Develops and assists in tracking metrics for business processes.
Supports established relationships with business counter parts and becomes a credible partner who seeks to understand business issues.
Creates benchmarks and insights based on analytic techniques to address issues and improve financial and operational performance.
Demonstrates strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manages inventory level and uses data to determine reorder requirements.
- Maintain data in SAP.
- Developes and maintains Excel reports around inventory control or cost analysis.
- Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
- Gathers and organizes information on problems or procedures.
- Confers with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
- Conducts on-site observation and personnel interviews to determine inventory level needs and constraints,, work-flow and material processes and other aspects around inventory management needs.
- Prepares manuals and trains workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy.
- Designs, evaluates, and recommends and approves changes of forms andto reports.
- Plans study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control or cost analysis.
- Plans and facilitates meetings and communications within assigned department and vendors.
- Communicates effectively in writing in response to periodic internal and / or external customer correspondence.
- Provides business costs and / or operations analysis.
- Develops methods for communicating key performance indicators to business unit area (internal and external customers) and contributes to scorecard efforts to provide appropriate detail on improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Accounting, Finance or other quantitative field.
