Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Law Clerk to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will support our attorneys by drafting legal documents, preparing USCIS forms, and compiling case files for review.
This position is ideal for a current law student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of immigration law, working with a diverse and elite clientele.
Key Responsibilities :
- Document Drafting : Draft legal documents, including support letters, and petitions, with a focus on well-researched accuracy and clarity.
- Form Preparation : Accurately prepare and complete USCIS forms for various visa categories, including EB1, EB2 NIW, E2, and O1.
- Case Compilation : Organize and compile case files, ensuring all documents are meticulously reviewed and ready for attorney assessment.
- Client Interaction : Assist in gathering information from clients and providing updates on case progress as needed.
Qualifications :
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an accredited law school with a strong interest in employment- based immigration law.
- Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze and synthesize complex legal information.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or in-office setting.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Hours :
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The successful candidate will be available to work 16-20 hours a week.
Compensation :
Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience and education level.
