Media Systems Engineer

Design test methods (Drive DoE) for enterprise solid state drives. Use data analysis techniques to understand and optimize media management algorithm.

Build model to analyze and validate media management algorithms to improve performance and reliability. Develop media management algorithms based on NAND characteristics.

Debug, optimize, and validate media management design on solid state drives. Develop drive testing scripts and data analysis infrastructure for media management algorithms.

Work with system architecture team to translate algorithms to system design.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in computer science, computational science, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Media Systems Engineer-related occupation.

Alternatively, employer will accept a degree in computer science, computational science, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Media Systems engineer-related occupation.
