Sustainability Project Manager, Net Zero Supplier Engagement
Our client is hiring a Sustainability Project Manager to join the Net Zero team. This role will help support the net zero supplier engagement program scale its projects with a strong focus on automation / tooling, internal collaboration and building analysis to support Meta's value chain emissions reduction by .
We are looking for smart and flexible candidates who are enthusiastic about working on cross functional teams, have strong analytical skills, with critical thinking abilities and exemplary communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of GHG reduction project management and supplier engagement on sustainability in a fast paced, dynamic tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects and make detailed plans to accomplish goals and regularly report out status to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders ( procurement teams, supplier managers) and external stakeholders (Suppliers) to deliver timely projects
- Design and develop reports / data visualizations to measure and track impact of projects based on stakeholder requirements.
- Confer with management and a broader team to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Develop and execute comms approach to ensure leaders and stakeholders are informed regularly.
- Collect data and project status from cross functional stakeholders.
- Support scaling of supplier capacity building programs by coordinating the review of tools / technology for scaling / automation and determining best methodology to train suppliers and provide access to resources they need to accelerate their GHG reduction (incl.
External collaboration).
- Assess and determine best medium for suppliers to learn and apply learnings
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of training content
- Support sustainability efforts to integrate NZ engagement tool with supplier connect and support tooling efforts on Net Zero Supplier Engagement roadmap.
- Analyze supplier data, targets, roadmaps and solutions for trends and projections to support decision-making in project strategy.
- Partner with cross functional teams to support the development and execution of new and existing GHG reduction initiatives.
- Effectively communicate program progress internally
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of project management
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Thoughtspot etc.
- A team player and strategic thinker who can ideate and help us scale initiatives that accelerate Meta's scope GHG emissions reduction with suppliers.
- A self starter, with a proven ability to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams ( Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams, Engineering) and managing relationships with complex stakeholders
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability and willingness to learn and work on projects
- Familiarity with global and sectoral sustainability initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- GHG software and tools operation experience
- Tableau proficiency
- PMI or PMP certification
