As a baker you will fulfil the daily demands of production in an efficient manner while following procedures respectfully.
MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS :
- Maintains production of desserts based on daily demand.
- Assists the baking team with all production steps : prep for cookie batter, clean up after weighing, consolidate baking sheets, set up depositor machine, pair & fill sandwich cookies, chocolate work, cutting of brownies, & clean up all workstations.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary environment.
- Ensures safety procedures are followed.
- Works at a fast pace and demonstrates a sense of urgency.
TEAMWORK :
- Encourages teamwork and leads by example by being a good team player.
- Has a can do attitude, and comes to work with positivity.
- Follows daily objectives and holds oneself accountable for achieving those objectives.
- Works in an organized & deliberate manner.
- Problem-solving : objectively and calmly solves issues by identifying the problem and work towards a solution.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds
CERTIFICATIONS :
Food Handlers Certification
COMPENSATION :
$18-$19 per hour depending on experience
Tips are added to payroll based on hours worked
