JOB DUTIES :

Assist in research, review, analysis, drafting and approval of various documents, policies, procedures and obligations to which the company is or may become a party.

Gather and analyze current information of the law in areas of special interest to the company.

Assist attorneys with the prosecution / defense of corporate lawsuits. Research and produce evidence required in claims by and against the company.

Assist attorneys with ensuring corporate compliance with all relevant federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances.

Participate in required intern events

Knowledge

Knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and practices of legal research.

Knowledge of administrative and judicial procedures and the rules of evidence.

Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret legal documents.

Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with corporate personnel, customers, contractors, consulting attorney's, court officials, regulatory agencies and the general public.

Ability to express facts and ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to use Microsoft Office applications software.

Qualifications : Experience

Experience

Currently enrolled in law school in between 2nd and 3rd year and / or Gap year Law school graduates, preparing for Bar Exams.

Auto Finance experience a plus.
