Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis and planning within a professional services environment
- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining complex financial models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- As a Strategic Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and analysis initiatives to support the company's overall strategic goals
- Lead the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with department heads
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights into business performance and trends
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to aid in strategic decision-making
- Conduct in-depth analysis of key business drivers, market trends and competitive landscape to support strategic decision-making
- Provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis to optimize business performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance against strategic objectives
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports and present findings to senior management
- Identify areas for improvement and work with business units to implement necessary changes
- Monitor and manage budget variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of budgetary goals with overall company strategy
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and reporting from senior management
- Contribute to the preparation of board presentations and executive summaries
Benefits
This role is hybrid back in office 3 days a week in Northbrook and budgeted up to a base of $110,000 with additional bonus
