Summary
We are looking to add a Business Insights Analyst to the Business Insights & Analytics team, who will create compelling data analytics solutions and surface actionable insights to drive business objectives.
This role with partner with business and strategy leaders to help us ask better questions about our business and understand current performance trends.
With a mix of business insight, analytical prowess and technical knowledge, this position lays the groundwork for data-driven approaches that drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic initiatives through data analytics; collaborate with product, finance, and line of business partners to understand the impact of changes in pricing and value proposition to client behavior and financials.
- Define, monitor, and report key management metrics; implement and manage business intelligence solutions such as scorecards and dashboards.
Provide top tier analytic and decision support.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand diverse reporting requirements and serve as a thought leader in simplifying the execution of data management and reporting processes.
- Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Present analytical insights and map strategy to data-driven business practices in a clear, concise way to executive management.
Requirements
- Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- 3-5+ years experience specializing in the data analytics or business intelligence space.
- Critical Thinking : Data analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
- Innovative : Demonstrated ability to develop, sponsor or support the introduction of new and improved methods, products, procedures or technologies.
- Communication : Deliver analytical insights as a clear and approachable story, reducing complexity as appropriate for different audiences.
- Broad understanding of the financial drivers of Consumer / Commercial Banking that support the ability to create effective KPI dashboards for executive management.
- Familiarity with data engineering, data modeling, data architecture principles and data management best practices.
- Preferred experience with our current analytics stack Alteryx, PowerBI, Visual Studio, DataBricks and languages such as SQL, Python.
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science or Statistics.
