Job description

We are looking for a fast-paced front desk receptionist and technician to be the face of the office. You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks requested from the doctor such as checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments,answering phone calls and performing testing for the doctors.

To be successful in this position, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations.

Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • Setup and clean exam rooms at the start of each day.
  • Perform assigned duties to open the office, including turning on exam room computers, pretest equipment, and other testing equipment.
  • Perform specialty testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
