Cyber is - naast zee, land, lucht en ruimte - het vijfde werkgebied van de krijgsmacht en is in de huidige tijd van spionage, desinformatie en andere digitale dreigingen van essentieel belang.
Het werkveld is altijd in ontwikkeling en vraagt van de organisatie continue alertheid en aanpassingsvermogen. Om in te kunnen spelen op de dreigingen en kansen in het cyberdomein zoeken we iemand die ons strategisch beleidsteam komt versterken.
Als senior beleidsmedewerker cyber draag je bij aan visie- en strategievorming, en de vertaalslag daarvan naar concreet defensiebeleid.
Momenteel zijn we bezig met de herziening van de Defensie Cyberstrategie, waardoor je direct de kans krijgt je te verdiepen in de meest uiteenlopende aspecten van cyber, zoals de cyberveiligheid van informatie- en wapensystemen, militaire cyberoperaties en de maatschappijbrede cyberweerbaarheid.
We zoeken iemand die niet schroomt om zich vast te bijten in onderzoek en in staat is inhoudelijk en procesmatig beleidsontwikkeling te coördineren in een speelveld met een groot aantal belanghebbenden.
Zo draag je bij aan de strategische sturing op de inrichting en samenstelling van Defensie. Je werkt aan onderwerpen die inhoudelijk sterk verweven zijn met andere beleidsterreinen, zowel binnen als buiten Defensie.
Niet voor niets werd er op de NAVO Cyber Defence Pledge Conference van 2024 opgeroepen tot nauwere samenwerking met elkaar, onze bondgenoten en het bedrijfsleven, zodat we samen deze cyberdreiging effectief kunnen blijven adresseren.
Dit vergt afstemming, geduld en diplomatie, maar levert eveneens nieuwe inzichten en een interessant netwerk op. Daarnaast zet je je elke dag in voor een weerbare digitale samenleving.
