Job Description
Job Title : IS Trainer 1 Job Summary :
The electronic health record specialist coordinates the development, organization and presentation of training and development methodologies for the Franciscan Medical Group in order to maximize organizational performance and utilization of the electronic health record.
This position is responsible for training all aspects and roles within the ambulatory health record and is responsible for the identification of training and development needs as well as monitoring effectiveness of programs.
It is the responsibility of the incumbent(s) of this position to incorporate the mission, values and philosophy of the organization into all aspects of job duties.
Experience, Education, Training, Special Skills, and Licensure :
2 years experience training on IS platforms / applications, clinical, or EHR; or teaching experience (Associate's Degree will substitute for 1 year experience.
Bachelor's Degree will substitute for 2 years experience)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively with diverse personalities Able to present education and training materials with effective communication and presentation skills.
- Performs effectively in a complex changing environment Excellent verbal / written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills;
ability to present complex materials to a variety of audiences
Must Obtain EPIC Credentialing within 90 days of Hire.
