Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC is seeking candidates for an Accounting Intern in our Dallas Support Center located in Addison, Texas.
The IT Intern works alongside the Accounting team and reports to the Accounting Manager. We’re focused on people and relationships first and we’re passionate about customer service and continuous improvement.

What does an Accounting Intern do?
As an Accounting Intern at Nation’s Best, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced accounting professionals and contribute to various accounting tasks and projects.
This internship is designed to provide you with real-world exposure to accounting principles, financial reporting, and the day-to-day operations of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- General Ledger Maintenance : Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger records. Post journal entries and ensure proper coding.
- Bank Reconciliation : Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Financial Analysis : Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Expense Tracking : Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with budget guidelines.
- Assist in Audits : Participate in internal and external audit preparations and provide support as needed.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping : Maintain organized and accurate financial records and files.
- Ad-hoc Projects : Support the accounting team with various ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
What does it take to be successful as an Accounting Intern?
- Must be currently pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field in an accredited program.
- Must at minimum, have completed 2nd / sophomore year or at least 60 credit hours to be considered. Students beginning a master’s program will also be considered.
- Must be able to comply with company background standards.
- Must be able to provide proof of employment eligibility according to Federal Form I-9 requirements.
- Have flexibility to work in our Dallas, TX office located at Beltline Rd and the Dallas North Tollway at least 20 hours per week.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, always keeping the Accounting Manager informed.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Well organized with strong attention to detail.
- Have ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Motivated to learn.
- Have ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a roll-up your sleeves attitude .
This internship is scheduled to begin in January of 2024 and conclude at the end of the Spring 2024 semester.
