SEO Manager

New American Funding (NAF) is hiring an experienced SEO Manager to drive organic growth. The SEO Manager will oversee NAF’s technical SEO strategy, user experience optimization, link building, and keyword strategy.

The goal is to enhance organic acquisition and improve rankings across all SERPs.

Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing or equivalent from an accredited 4-year university. At least 5 years of SEO experience, coupled with a similar duration in marketing, particularly in online marketing and social media.

Experience in SEO / SMO / SMM digital analytics is also required.

• Proficiency in Google Search Console and Google Analytics is essential. A working knowledge of HTML, CSS, , and JavaScript, understanding their development constraints.
• Familiarity with the latest trends, tools (SEO Scout, Semrush), and best practices in SEO and SEM. Knowledge of mortgage, financial services, and / or real estate is preferred.
• Experience with email management software and social media optimization engines. Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience reporting on and analyzing campaign results

Qualifications

• strategic insights from Google Trends, social media, and other analytics tools to assist the editorial team.
• Enhance editorial and SEO performance through diligent keyword research, on-page optimization, and historical data analysis for event planning.

Provide regular updates on search performance, covering daily metrics and detailed analysis during significant news events.

• Take charge of the organic performance and lead generation for , analyzing the organic search landscape to identify and capitalize on opportunities that deliver valuable traffic and contribute to the business's bottom line in collaboration with various marketing teams.
• Innovate and develop custom solutions by testing and collaborating with digital marketing, data analytics, and editorial.
• Carry out keyword research using software such as Ahrefs to optimize our content
• Manage external relationships with third party agencies and tools where needed
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement with AI, staying up to date with recent tools and developments
• Develop and test content promotion strategies in partnership with the editorial, social, and creative teams, utilizing a broad spectrum of digital tools and channels.
• Comprehensively report on everything from production progress and upper funnel demand capture to rank positioning, full funnel visibility, and conversion rates.
• Ensure our sites and pages are technically optimized for mobile users and search engines, focusing on information architecture, schema management, semantic HTML, page speed, and other key factors that influence crawling and indexing performance.
