Position Overview
We are seeking a deeply experienced Security Systems Technician Development Lead to join our operations in the Dallas, TX area.
This person will teach, inspire, and empower our installation teams by creating, curating, and offering best-in-industry training materials, standards, and processes in the commercial security and low voltage electrical fields.
The expected salary budget for the role is $75,000-$90,000.
This is a hands-on role with some field work requirements. This individual must have a expert background in installing and servicing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems and at least seven (7) years of experience working and leading in the commercial security systems field.

Main Responsibilities :
- Training Development : Develop high quality courses, workshops, and teaching materials for critical skills and methods in low voltage security installation and programming in written, verbal, virtual, and in person formats.
- Field Mentorship : Work with mentor technicians at each site to determine training needs, develop courses, workshops, or apprenticeship opportunities to support mentorship in the field at each branch.
- Hiring and Orientation : Participate in interviews to vet technician candidates and assess technical skill level, determine training plans for new technicians, and assist with the development of new employee training materials.
- Quality Control : Complete internal audits of Digi's projects, and ensures that highest standard of installation is upheld.
Train Digi technicians and provide guidance to meet Digi partner standards.

Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift / move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.
- Must be able to differentiate colors.
- Must be able to utilize a computer for long periods of time.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
