JOB SUMMARY You will assist with the planning, development and writing of grant proposals to assist with the growth of the agency vision.

ABOUT YOU You are well versed in working with grant proposals and finding new ways to develop grants for the agency. WHAT YOU’LL DO Assist with writing and preparing of grant applications, thank you, LOI, linkage agreements, correspondence with funders and budget narrative Read and understand the RFP / RFA to make informed decisions throughout the grant process.

Navigate online database systems in the absence of the grants contract manager. Coordinate grant meetings including invites and room reservations.

Assist on all private and UJA grant submissions includes transferring of draft narrative into application format, gathering attachments and securing budgets from fiscal Oversee Private Foundation grants and assist staff to maintain relationship with funders.

Responsible for Mid-Year, Final Reports for UJA and Private foundations (work with Program Staff to produce on time, submit) Track Private and UJA awards Assist with city, state and federal contracts as needed Budget Development Maintain existing contracts & begin new contracts Maintain Charts and Graphs to track submission data and awards Assist with all daily task required to operate the Development Department including administrative task and assisting Grants Director with additional projects.

Homeland Security Contracts work closely with Contract Manager, Grants Specialist, Maintenance Supervisor, Chief Financial Officer and NYS Contract Manager.

Complete application narrative, run ads, correspond with vendors, submit quarterly reports, collect and submit materials needed to be reimbursed.

OUR REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree Required Proficient computer knowledge and skills Excellent written and verbal communication Detail oriented and well organized Flexible and able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
