Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.
6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant. Ingles Markets’ headquarters and distribution center are located just 15 minutes outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Black Mountain.

The Position
The Real Estate Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to company owned property.
Key Responsibilities :
- Roadway / parking lot repairs, patching potholes
- Building maintenance, dry wall repairs, floor tile replacement, restroom maintenance, interior / exterior painting
- HVAC filter changes and maintenance
- Minor plumbing and electrical repairs, replacing electrical outlets and covers
- Must have knowledge of an assortment of hand tools
The Ideal Candidate :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Related construction or maintenance experience is desired.
- Has strong time management, organizational skills, with particular attention to detail.
- Must have general handyman expertise and knowledge.
- Ability to complete maintenance tasks, as directed.
- Welding experience is preferred.
