Forklift Material Handler
Location : Fort Worth, TX
Shift : 1st - 6 : 00am - 4 : 45pm M-F, Some Saturday work, Overtime Available
PAY : $19.00 - $22.00 Based on Experience
As a Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and movement of products, ensuring warehouse targets are met.
You will play a key role in inventory control, contributing to a smooth supply chain operation. This position reports to the Inventory Manager and collaborates with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Stock items, ensuring correct labeling and rotation.
- Pull parts for transfers, manufacturing, and sales, documenting transactions accurately.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and maintain complete inventory records.
- Safely operate machinery, reporting maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Load / unload shipments, verifying packing lists, and maintain an organized warehouse.
- Assist in mentoring and training other warehouse personnel.
- Collaborate with departments like Sales, QA, and Shipping, ensuring smooth processes.
- Safeguard warehouse from unauthorized personnel and report incidents of theft or loss.
- Help prioritize and package shipments to meet same-day shipping goals.
Skills & Experience Required :
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams); Oracle knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with experience in inventory management.
- Forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down) and ability to achieve certification.
- Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment and follow safety guidelines.
