When you join us as an Insurance Authorization Representative you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will :
- Obtain information on the patient’s eligibility status with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and payment for services
- Work closely with insurance providers and referring physicians’ staff to obtain necessary patient history and notes in order to expedite processing.
- Properly analyze various payor eligibility responses to find the information needed to complete verifications
- Obtain and confirm insurance pre-authorizations & contact insurance providers via email or phone to review status of authorizations
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the RIS system for each patient, according to established standards

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
