Job Overview :
The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, including accounts payable, vendor reconciliation, and general accounting tasks.
This position supports month-end and year-end closing procedures and maintains precise financial records to contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant :
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate financial records through data entry and filing.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- The accounting assistant will perform general accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Qualifications desired for the Accounting Assistant :
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting clerk or similar accounting role.
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary : $42,000 - $55,000, depending on experience.
