Position Details
The University of Tampa’s John H. Sykes College of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Accounting with an expected start date in August 2025.

Required Qualifications
Possession of an earned doctorate degree, preferably with a concentration in accounting or information systems. Consideration will be given to ABD (All But Dissertation) candidates with the understanding that the degree must be completed by the contract start date in August 2025.
Prior work experience in public accounting or industry (at least 2-3 years).
Evidence of a deep commitment to teaching and engaging with students.
Experience with the application of technology in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications
Earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited business school.
Professional accounting certification(s)
Certification in at least one emerging technology ( Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, or Access) or experience teaching at least one emerging technology (, with evidence of projects, assignments, etc.)
