In comparison to similar businesses in their sector, they are unique because of their renowned financial expertise combined with a complete farm management understanding, which includes practical farming services as well as financial and policy expertise of all sectors including combinable crops, sugar beet, fresh produce, fruit, and livestock.
Growth within the business has meant that they are now looking to recruit an Assistant Estate Manager ideally an individual who can partner with the Managing Director to create further success.
As such you will be joining an established and highly respected team with a career progression second to none.
For the role in question, on a day-to-day basis you will be involved in the full practicality of the farm planning and direct farming operations in a mixture of management and professional work for the business’s clients.
This will involve extensive communication with external parties, the clients themselves as well as working with the key strengths of the existing farming team.
Included in all of this will be the potential desire to develop new high-quality business as well as professionally managing the existing client base on-going and looking to make the portfolio of client’s land future proof in our uncertain times.
The right candidate will ideally have previous experience in Farm / Estate Management, agricultural / food accountancy. Working knowledge of the agriculture / environmental / financial sectors and rural land use would be very advantageous.
There is also the hands-on elements creating an enjoyable mix of practical farming as well as the ongoing management elements.
A leaning towards the financial elements of business planning / management would be looked on highly favourably as well.
As you would expect, you will need to have a driving licence as there is regular travel to rural areas.
