Description
POSITIONSUMMARY : Transports inpatients and outpatientsto and from their destinations safely within the hospital. Assists patients and patient carestaff.
Requirements
EDUCATION : High School or equivalent required.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through AmericanHeart Association required, or must be attained within two weeks ofemployment.

- Ability to retain composureunder stress, to move quickly but effectively to meet patient careneeds

EXPERIENCE : Prior related work experience in medical environmentpreferred.

Subject tostressful professional relationships. Working hours vary,with flexibility needed to meet unexpected changes in schedule andemergencies.
