JobSummary / Overview :

Overseethe roof construction processes of the solar installation to ensuretimely and quality work is being achieved and assist the ElectricalLead as needed.

This job includes driving to and from our warehouseand job sites. Solar electrical knowledge bending conduit knowledgeand being comfortable on a roof are required.

Must know roof safetyhow to tie off and how to use a harness and ladderstraps.

Core / Primary JobResponsibilities :

• Installationof electrical systems that interconnect the solar array to the gridpower of our customer s residentialproperty
• Installing PV systems frombeginning to end Work with crew members to complete projects withinthe company s policy andprocedure.
• Diagnose and troubleshootsystem malfunctions and operationalissues.
• Troubleshooting systemproblems and helping resolve electricalissues
• Layout and assemble solarmodules mechanical and structural mounts electrical equipment andtools in preparation forinstallation
• Trenching concrete workand equipment assembly
• Project cleanup including client site and installationvehicle
• Ensure attention to detailwith an emphasis on safety quality customer service andproductivity
• Demonstrate knowledgeof OSHA standards related to photovoltaic installations and enforcesafety practices andstandards
• Develop a positive workingdynamic within the installation crew and branchcoworkers
• Lead production teammembers with an intense focus on safety and quality while ensuringcompliance with federal and state regulations as well as internalcompany policies
• Develop workinstructions and crosstrainingplans
• Provide onthejob training andlead by example
• Drive continuousimprovement of plant key performance indicators (Safety QualityCustomer Service Cost)
• Utilize leanmethodologies and tools in order to accomplish productiongoals
• All team members areresponsible for supporting an inclusive workenvironment
• 100% travel isrequired
• Assemble solar modulespanels or support structures
• Measurecut and assemble structural framing and solarmodules
• Communicate with customersin a professional considerate and respectful manner answering allquestions and concerns to the best of yourability
• Review inventory at theloading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is stockedadequately
• Apply weather sealing toroofing structure building or supportmechanisms
• Assemble and lay theracking solar modules panels or support structures as specified inthe project plan
• Ensure a clean andorderly job site
• Perform projectclean up including client site and installationvehicle
• Ensure personal crew and jobsite safety at all times
• Participatein mandatory training sessions on new products installationmethodology and safety
• Lead crewthrough safe effective and efficientinstallations
• Provide leadershiptechnical expertise and support to fellow crewmembers
• Perform additional duties asassigned and / ordirected.

Requirements

RequirementsEducation Skills Qualifications andExperience :

• Mustbe expert and certified in Generac EnPhase and LG Chem / SolarEdgebattery systems
• The ability to workcalmly and efficiently
• Willingnessto learn
• Great customerservice
• Must have a clean driverslicense and background check
• Musthave a High School diploma or aGED
• Must be willing to work inunfavorable weather conditions (hot cold wetwindy)
• Solar Installation : 3 to 4years
• Lifting heavy objects and nofear of heights Ability to safely handle tools andequipment
• Roof / ElectricalInstallation : 2 years(Required)
• Drivers License(Required) and clean drivingrecord.
• Works independently as ateam player and drives results in a fastpaced teambasedenvironment
• The ability to workcalmly and efficiently
• Willingnessto learn
• Great customerservice
• Must be able to pass abackground credit check and drugscreen

PhysicalDemands and WorkingConditions

• Essentialphysical requirements included climbing standing stooping bendingsquatting stretch.
• Physicaleffort / lifting up to 10 pounds; light up to 20 pounds; medium up to50 pounds; heavy over 50pounds.
• Lifting heavy objects and nofear of heights Ability to safely handle tools andequipment
• Ability to work in allweather and climates
• Ability to workin confined spaces such asattics
• Must be able to work withheights; ascends / descends a ladder torooftops.
• While working conditionscan vary depending on the specific position this job will requireyou to be outdoors for extended periods of time.

Solar installationand maintenance can only be done when the weather is good expectlong hours during these times in order to get as much work done aspossible.

Keep in mind that you maybe required to work at heights necessary to get the work done andthat you can meet the physical demand of working on a rooftop.

Additionally solar technicians will sometimes need to work inattics or crawl into tight spaces as they will need to hook up thesolar panels to the electricgrid.

Compensationmay vary based on role level experience length of time in aposition and location. Candidates are not guaranteed to be at thehigh or low end of the compensation ranges presented.
