About The Position
Job Title : Rad Tech Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (No call) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience License : Yes, required to submit Certifications : - BLS (Basic Life Support)- Certified Vascular Interventional Radiographer (ARRT VI)- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Must-Have : 2 years of IR experience- Travel experience preferred Job Description : Perform interventional radiology procedures including general body tube placements, line placements, stents, drains, Y-90s, and IVIS.
- Work as part of a team with 1 tech scrubbed in, 1 tech circulating, and 1 tech in the control room.- Utilize EMR systems such as Epic and McKesson PACS.
- Operate Philips FD 20 equipment in procedures.- Support the Interventional Radiologist and 1-2 Physician Assistants on site during working hours.
- Follow the department's provided scrub color and dress code.- Participate in 3 days to 1 week of department-specific orientation.
- Possibility of floating to nearby locations in Interventional Radiology as needed.- Enjoy working with a great team of Interventional Radiologists and nursing staff that are easy to collaborate with.
Additional Notes : Weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m.- No weekend or holiday requirements.
