Description : We are currently seeking an individual with a strong background in System Analysis to support web and desktop applications for a large enterprise.
This position involves : Providing administrative services for websites, applications, and database serversManaging both Linux and Windows operating systemsTesting for vulnerability and security risksMaintaining separate computing environments for production, testing, and developmentAnalyzing results from security monitoring toolsTuning and maintaining system hardwarePatching and troubleshooting system softwareMaintaining database softwareMonitoring software interfaces and data exchangesManaging performance of the overall systemManaging and troubleshooting faults, issues, and problemsAssigning individual and group access to applications, domains, and systemsManaging user registration and profilesAnalyzing data outputs to identify supply issuesProviding functional support for IT activitiesManagement of data, systems, users, and software implementationPerforming database query operationsOperating complex database programsEvaluating data and its sourcesOptimizing data quality and automationConsulting with customers and system users at all levelsPerforming change management in accordance with established policies, processes, and proceduresDeveloping and maintaining Continuity of Operations (COOP) information and materialsDeveloping, executing, and auditing backup proceduresRestoring data as necessary from backupsApplying Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations to operating systems, database platforms, applications servers, and custom developed softwareRequired Experience and Skills : CompTIA Security+ Certification5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Server operating systemsExcellent customer service and communication skillsMust have an active Secret security clearancePreferred Experience and Skills : Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldFamiliarity with the U.
