Responsibilities :
- Perform MIG welding on rebar and structural forms according to project specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques and materials.
- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Collaborate with other members of the construction team to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder, preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of welding on rebar and structural forms is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks in various positions and environments.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
