DESCRIPTION :
As a Plumbing Designer at WDF Inc., reporting to VP - Mechanical Operations you will be :
- Responsible for designing plumbing systems for modular structures
- Managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing technical guidance
- Ensure all plumbing systems are installed correctly, meet quality standards, and meet client expectations
- Under limited supervision, coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents
- Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems
- Process contractor submittals
- Perform feasibility studies
- Prepare limited construction cost estimates within discipline
- Develop, maintain, and use standard details
- Adhere to budgets and meeting schedule requirements
REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution desired
- Seven (7) + years of experience in plumbing design, preferably with experience in designing plumbing systems for modular structures
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD to create plumbing system designs
- Proficient in the Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD 2008 or newer. (AutoCAD MEP & Revit a Plus)
- Design / Build Project experience including Commercial, Mixed-Use, Educational, Institutional, high-Rise, Life sciences, etc.
- Knowledge of local Code & Standards, regulatory and LEED requirements
- Excellent written and verbal skills
Salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000 depending on experience
