DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Health Services Specialist to join our team specializing in Ergonomics and Case Management in Ladson, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Direct Patient Case Management : By providing hands-on case management you contribute directly to their wellbeing and occupational health.

Your expertise and compassion can improve their quality of life.

Occupational Health Surveillance : Supporting the sites surveillance programs ensures early detection of health issues among employees.

This proactive approach helps prevent workplace-related illnesses and injuries.

Health & Disease Management Education : Educating employees about Health & Disease management programs empowers them to take control of their health.

Your guidance can lead to better outcomes and reduced absenteeism.

Accurate Recordkeeping : Maintaining individual employee case management medical records ensures compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.

These records are essential for tracking health trends and managing health-related incidents.

Legal Compliance : Keeping up with legally required records and working collaboratively with on-site medical and off-site claims teams to maintain records such as workers compensation files, is crucial.

Your attention to detail helps protect both employees and the organization.

Conduct ergonomic risk assessments to prioritize safety.

Participate in emergency preparedness and response.

Manage workplace exposure risks through industrial hygiene practices.

Collaborate on occupational health programs.

Manage work-related injuries and illnesses.

Deliver effective training to learners.

Education, Licenses, Certifications :

Education : BS in health services field (such as Nursing, Athletic Training,

Physical / Occupational Therapy, etc) is preferred

Certifications

Occupational Health preferred, as applicable ( COHN)

Intermediate+ English language fluency preferred

Experience :

1+ years of experience in related field is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

Ergonomics Risk Reduction Program : As the single point of accountability, manage the campus ergonomics risk reduction programs.

Prioritize safety and implement measures to reduce ergonomic risks.

Chair Ergonomic Committees : Lead cross-functional ergonomic committees.

Facilitate collaboration and decision-making to enhance workplace ergonomics.

Metrics Monitoring and Reporting : Regularly monitor ergonomic metrics.

Analyze trends and report on progress toward risk reduction goals.

Human Tech Database Management : Maintain the Human Tech database.

Use data insights to drive improvements in ergonomic risk management.

Human Tech Validator Qualification : Attain the Human Tech Validator qualification level.

Ensure proper training for Human Tech Trainers and Assessors.

Case Management Leadership : Engage HR, HSE, Medical and off-site claims team in case management processes.

Drive continuous improvement in managing workplace incidents.

Case Management Procedure : Take responsibility for the campuss case management procedure.
