Job Title : Dietary Cook

• Part-time, multiple opportunities.
• Day shift : 5am - 1 : 30pm.
• Night shift : 11 : 30am - 7 : 30pm.

About the Role :

As a Dietary Cook at Columbine Commons, you will :

• Prepare meals, desserts, and snacks for all diets according to company standards.
• Make independent decisions when necessary and handle interactions with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and agencies tactfully.
• Exhibit lead ership and work harmoniously with all staff members.
• Follow oral and written instructions and maintain cleanliness and order in food service areas.
• Seek out and incorporate new dietary methods and principles.
• Serve meals that are both palatable and presentable, adhering to health code requirements.
• Estimate and prepare food supplies to meet serving portions.
• Participate in continuing education programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For :

Experience and Education :

• A t least 17 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required .
• A t least one month of applicable experience or training .

Skills :

• Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to reason and problem solve .
• Basic technical skills.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $17.25 - $18.25 / hr . DOE
