Job Overview :

Delivers direct clinical services, supervises assigned staff, provides day to day administrative management and coordinates all aspects of a defined unit within a Behavioral Health program.

Qualifications : Required :

Required :

  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Successfully completed a certificate in clinical supervision with at least 1-2 years supervisory experience and 5 years of clinical experience working with adults
  • Candidates must have a valid NJ Drivers License

Certifications and Licenses Required :

NJ licensure as an LCSW

Essential Functions :

  • Ensures that program / unit / activities operate as planned and clients services are delivered in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assigns / directs staff on a daily basis as indicated. Manages call outs / vacations by assigning staff.
  • Monitors program / unit / activity to ensure compliance with schedule. Meets productivity assignments.
  • Ensures that needed supplies / resources are available for unit operation and prepares P.O.’s when necessary.
  • Prepares and submits monthly statistical reports.
  • Collects data for monthly QA / PI / UR reports as delegated.
  • Provides documented clinical supervision of assigned staff.
  • Ensures that clinical charts are appropriately documented; ensures chart compliance with relevant Policies and Procedures, insurance and regulatory standards.
  • Makes hiring / termination recommendations to Program Director / Administrator, initiates disciplinary action and evaluation reviews.
  • Monitors all client treatment plans and intervenes when required.
  • When providing direct services, meets the standards for Senior Primary Therapist in relation to clinical assessment, treatment plan development, treatment plan implementation, chart documentation, termination and follow-up.
  • Participates in crisis intervention when required. Follows up post incident.
  • Participates in all Department, hospital and outside agency / institution committees as assigned / delegated.
  • Participates in program development, makes recommendations to Program Director / Administrator for program growth, participates in RFP’s and grant writing.
  • Prepares / maintains unit readiness for inspections, surveys, ensures program compliance with all standards.
  • Ensures that all grant data is gathered and reported to the Program Director .
  • Takes responsibility for professional growth.
  • Gathers customer satisfaction data as assigned.

Pay Range :

$ 75 ,000.00 minimum to $ 85,000.00 maximum Annual Salary
