Description
The Compensation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the U.S. and India compensation plans, programs, and related analysis to ensure the organization is providing benefits and paying salaries that are equitable and competitive in the market.
Job Responsibilities
Required to work PST or MNT time zone.
Compensation Strategy and Design : Assists in the development and implementation of strategic compensation plans and programs, including global salary structures and incentive plans.
Conducts research, analyzes data, and identifies trends in compensation and continually reviews current practices and policies to ensure that best practices are being utilized.
Program Management : Evaluates current job positions, promotions, and compensation proposals for prospective employees, etc.
Reviews and finalizes job descriptions including the Fair Labor and Standards Act (FLSA) evaluations; manages job documentation, job descriptions, and compensation database.
Audits job code structure within Human Resource Information System (HRIS) systems.Assists in the execution and administration of U.
S. and India compensation policies and programs such as short-term incentive, long-term incentive, and other recognition incentive programs including communication and calculation of awards.
- Analysis and Reporting : Provides analytical support for U.S. and India compensation programs; creates and prepares reports to evaluate current compensation plans and makes recommendations for future updates or changes to base, bonus, and incentive plans.
- Compliance and Governance : Ensure that compensation programs in the U.S. and India adhere to the relevant laws and rules at the local, state and federal levels.
Assist with developing and maintaining company wide compensation policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication : Partner with HR, Finance and business leaders to understand and address compensation needs factoring in company compensation philosophy.
Provide ongoing training and support to HR Business Partners on compensation related topics.Develops strong partnerships with the HR Business Partners, recruiting and business leaders in the organization, providing support and consulting expertise related to compensation related issues.
Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required :
- 5 plus years of hands-on compensation experience with increasing levels of responsibilities
- 1 plus years of international compensation experience, specifically with India compensation
- 1 plus years of lead and / or supervisory experience on a compensation team
- Experience using Pay Factors or similar compensation management software
- Knowledge and experience with compensation administration in Workday or similar HCM solution
- License / Certification Required :
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Knowledge of : Competitive labor and market trends; U.S. and India compensation and classification policies, procedures, and best practices;
compensation legal policies, bench marking best practices; Microsoft Office Suite.
