Lighthouse Care Center is looking for a magnificent Nurse Manager (RN) . This is a full time exempt position.

Key Responsibilities include :
- Directs and provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and is directly responsible to the Director of Nursing for quality patient care provided to patients in the Facility.
- Responsible for the day-to day operations of Nursing to enhance the quality of the patient care and provides sufficient staffing and schedules personnel according to census and acuity.
- Ensures adherence to established policy and procedure within the accepted scope of nursing practice.
- Responds to Codes and therapeutically intervenes with the patient in crisis as evidenced by completion of seclusion / restraint forms indicating the necessity of any seclusion or restraint, observation of the patient and documentation of patient’s condition, criteria for discontinuation of seclusion / restraint and physician notification.
- Collects Performance Improvement data monthly for assigned unit; analyzes the data and makes recommendations for improvements where needed.
- Servers as Interim DON when necessary.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required or must be enrolled in educational program to support BSN requirment within 6 months of hire.
Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- 2 year psychiatric nursing experience at minimum
- Current licensure in good standing in the State of Georgia or multistate as a Registered Nurse
- Possess knowledge of ANA nursing standards and Federal and State guidelines and regulatory agencies
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Accuracy in work performance and valuing of documentation are mandatory characteristics
- Must possess excellent supervisory and organization skills
- Must possess planning, organization, implementation and assessment skills
- Must have the ability to motivate, evaluate and train employee
