The business is a multi-disciplinary Grade A contractor which provides exclusively, or through partnerships that have been established with other international major construction organizations, the design and / or the construction of various infrastructure and building projects for the government and the private sectors in Saudi Arabia.
Working closely with the MD / GM the role is key to the company’s distinctive and ambitious growth strategy. This is a leadership role that entails developing and managing the company’s Project Management Function and teams.Key responsibilities :
- Involvement in all projects from initial strategy, commercial terms, detailed planning and resourcing through to delivery.
- Monitoring and controlling the progress and delivery of each project to ensure they are delivered to time and cost plans.
- Production of detailed discipline project and resources plans to ensure that services to clients are efficient, profitable, coordinated and best in class.
- Assessing and where necessary, implementing new or improved systems across training, recruitment, procedures, IT and software.The Person
- An excellent understanding of project management theory and practice relevant to Construction / development projects.
- A degree qualified Civil Engineer preferably by a reputable University (western educated is advantageous)
- Middle East construction experience is essential
- Relevant business and project management qualifications are advantageous.
- Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Arabic speaking and writing is advantageous and preferred
- Experience of managing an internal project management functions within a multi-discipline organization.
- Strong leadership, collaboration and influencing skills
